THE REPUBLIC OF SOLARA MERIT

Freedom · Cooperation · Merit · Security

The Republic of Solara Merit is founded on a simple belief: humanity’s future among the stars should be built by those willing to contribute to it.

We are a democratic, semi-presidential republic where every citizen has a voice and public office is a responsibility, not a privilege. Our government exists to serve the people, protect their freedoms, and provide the stability necessary for them to pursue their ambitions.

FREEDOM

We defend the right of every citizen to choose their own path. Whether a citizen wishes to trade, explore, fight, manufacture, transport, or simply build a life among the stars, Solara Merit seeks to provide the freedom and security to do so.

COOPERATION

The vastness of the universe cannot be conquered alone. We believe in cooperation between citizens, organizations, industries, and communities. We build stronger fleets, economies, and institutions by working together.

MERIT

Positions of responsibility should be earned through dedication, ability, integrity, and service. We value contribution over status and competence over entitlement. Every citizen should have the opportunity to rise through their own efforts.

SECURITY

Freedom requires security. Solara Merit will maintain the means to protect its citizens, territory, interests, and way of life. Our defense forces exist to protect the Republic and remain accountable to its civilian government and Constitution.

A REPUBLIC OF CITIZENS

Solara Merit is not built around a single ruler or a permanent elite. Its institutions are designed to distribute responsibility among the Presidency, Government, National Assembly, military command, and civil administration.

Citizens elect their representatives and President. The Government administers the Republic. The Assembly provides legislation and oversight. The armed forces defend the Republic. The Civil Service preserves the institutions that allow all of them to function.

As our population grows, so will our institutions. Political parties, competing visions, elections, coalitions, and public debate may emerge naturally from our citizens.

OUR PURPOSE

We seek to build more than an organization. We seek to build a living community within the Star Citizen universe—one where citizens can create businesses, join fleets, explore distant systems, participate in government, form friendships, and leave their mark on the Republic.

Solara Merit looks toward a future where opportunity is earned, freedom is protected, cooperation is valued, and every citizen has a role in building what comes next.

Charter

CHARTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOLARA MERIT

1. RESPECT & CONDUCT

All members shall treat fellow citizens, allies, and other players with respect. Harassment, discrimination, personal attacks, deliberate disruption, and abusive behavior have no place within the Republic.

2. LOYALTY TO THE REPUBLIC

Members shall act in good faith toward Solara Merit and its citizens. Members representing the Republic externally are expected to uphold its reputation and agreements.

3. FREEDOM OF MEMBERS

Citizens are free to pursue their own lawful activities within Star Citizen. Membership does not require participation in every operation, event, or government activity.

4. COOPERATION

Members are encouraged to assist fellow citizens and contribute to collective operations. Organized activities should prioritize communication, teamwork, and responsible conduct.

5. GOVERNMENT & POLITICS

Members may freely express political opinions, support candidates, form political groups, and participate in elections. Political disagreement shall not be grounds for harassment or retaliation.

Government offices exist to serve the Republic. Holders of public office are expected to exercise their authority according to the Constitution and applicable rules.

6. MILITARY CONDUCT

Military personnel shall follow lawful orders, maintain discipline during operations, and respect the civilian authority established by the Republic. Military resources shall not be used for personal disputes or unauthorized actions.

7. SECURITY & CONFIDENTIALITY

Members shall not deliberately compromise Republic operations, disclose confidential information without authorization, sabotage organizational assets, or abuse administrative permissions.

8. ORGANIZATIONAL ASSETS

Ships, equipment, funds, facilities, and other assets belonging to the Republic shall be used responsibly and according to their intended purpose. Personal property remains the property of its owner unless otherwise agreed.

9. RECRUITMENT & MEMBERSHIP

Members shall provide truthful information during recruitment and citizenship processes. New members are expected to familiarize themselves with the Constitution, Charter, and organizational procedures.

10. CONFLICTS & DISPUTES

Members should attempt to resolve disagreements through respectful discussion and established Republic procedures. Officials shall not use their position to settle personal disputes.

11. ENFORCEMENT

Violations may result in warnings, loss of organizational privileges, removal from office, suspension, or termination of membership, depending on the circumstances.

Disciplinary action should be proportionate, documented where appropriate, and carried out according to established procedures.

12. PRINCIPLE OF SERVICE

Every member holding an office, rank, or administrative responsibility is entrusted with authority for the benefit of the Republic. Authority shall not be treated as personal privilege.

13. FINAL PRINCIPLE

The Republic of Solara Merit is a community built by its citizens. Members are expected to uphold the principles of Freedom, Cooperation, Merit, and Security and contribute to a community in which others can do the same.
