History
Who We Are
Ruin Gaming was established in the early 2000s to support Diablo II and has since grown into a prominent multi-game community with deep expertise in large-scale PvP and progression raiding.
Our background includes major MMORPGs such as Age of Conan, Warhammer Online, World of Warcraft, Elder Scrolls Online, Final Fantasy XIV, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. This experience has refined our approach to coordinated operations, discipline, and effective teamwork.
A standout achievement was leading one of the largest open-world campaigns in World of Warcraft’s *Battle for Azeroth*—comparable in scale to Wintergrasp—with sustained battles engaging hundreds of thousands of players over extended periods.
In Star Citizen, Ruinous [RUINOUS] brings this proven foundation to the ‘verse as a PMC with regular piracy operations. We are developing a resilient organization structured around:

1. Code of Conduct
All members must represent Ruin Gaming with unwavering integrity, professionalism, and respect in every interaction—both in the ‘verse and across the community.
Harassment, discrimination, toxicity, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disciplinary action.
Every member is bound by Star Citizen’s Terms of Service and official community guidelines.
2. Teamwork and Collaboration
Success demands seamless cooperation. During operations, organizational objectives always supersede individual goals.
Members are required to utilize designated voice and text channels for planning, coordination, and execution—clear, concise communication is non-negotiable.
3. Participation and Activity

Extended absences must be communicated to leadership in advance to maintain unit cohesion and planning accuracy.
