History

The Ripley-Weaver Corporation

Founded in 2946 by the merger of The Ripley Company and Weaver Industries.

The Ripley Company
Originating in the Sol system and specializing in interplanetary trading and shipping. Following in the footsteps of the expanding empire, gradually establishing contacts and trading posts throughout empire space.

Weaver Industries
Began trading as a supplier and shipper of starship fuels. The business established itself as a dependable contractor for local militias fending off Vanduul raids in the border systems.

Vault-Tec
Acquired The Ripley-Weaver Corporation in 2947, incorporating the business into the corporations trade & transport division. Re-naming it The Ripley-Weaver Corps. This signifies a new beginning for the company as they start resupply operations for Vault-Tec’s many building projects across the verse.

What we do

Cargo Transport
The Ripley-Weaver division offers several shipping services ranging from bulk transport to in system package delivery. Vault-Tec customers will also enjoy our priority shipping service. Ensuring your outpost is fully stocked at a moments notice.

Outpost Construction Support
RWC is a subsidiary of Vault-Tec. We are the logistical arm of Vault-Tec and as such provide all logistical support for outpost construction projects. Bringing all required materials to Pioneer teams who will then conduct the construction operations in all corners of the verse.

Liquids Transport & In Flight Refueling
With the Ripley-Weaver Corps tanker fleet we are equipped to handle any of your liquid goods or liquid fuel needs. Be that transporting your refined fuel to market, water for your hydroponics lab, or liqueur for the after battle party.

Vault-Tec customers are also able to take advantage of our in-flight refueling services, for those times when you need to push that little bit further.

Tactical Transport & Re-Supply
The Ripley-Weaver Corps is fully equipped to help support customers who require heavy machinery & munitions transportation. Helping to ensure your peacekeeping & security operations continue as planned.

The tactical transport section will also assist in moving ground based supply vehicles to assist resupply of outposts that are cut off from traditional supply ships by inclement weather or phenomena.

Medical Transport
The Ripley-Weaver Corp places a special priority on medical transfers and medical supply shipments. When time is critical for saving life, RWC is able to field our RSI Apollo medical transport. Equipped to stabilize up to Tier 1 patients in flight and able to transfer organs and tissue for transplant.

Manifesto

Our Mission

The Ripley-Weaver Corp will mainly focus on Trade, Transport and Exploration. There is a requirement to protect company and member assets during these activities therefore fleet escort and marines will be required. All individuals involved in company operations will receive full shares proportionate to their involvement in any work carried out.

The Company is open to the suggestion of diversification into additional industries if sufficient interest and support from the members is voiced.

Operation Pitchfork

The company is a supporter of Operation Pitchfork and will be participating. With our focus in haulage and shipping it is a natural fit for us to provide logistical support as well as convoy escort but these roles will be made clear closer to the time.

Our people

The Ripley-Weaver Corp is a fledgling corporation and as such is seeking to expand and grow, we are welcoming of new members and the ideas that they bring. Ultimately we want to enjoy the promising universe of star citizen and all it has to offer with a good group of people who just want to have some fun.

Charter

Company guidelines

Company guidelines are in place as a code of best practice for all employees and associates.

1. All board members are to approve the instigation of any hostile act toward another company prior to any engagement.

2. If an employee is attacked by an individual, whether part of a company alliance or not, that employee has the right to defend themselves.

3. All board members, directors & managers must have Ripley-Weaver Corp as their main organization but may be affiliated with other organizations.

4. All other employees may have the Ripley-Weaver Corporation as their primary organisation or as an affiliation.

5. Crews have the right to refuse a shipment if they are unhappy with it in any way.

6. Once a shipment has been accepted by a crew, that crew must ensure the delivery of said shipment in a safe and time efficient manner.

7. Company employees are to assist fellow employees in distress to the best of their ability.

8. Piracy will not be tolerated.

Board members
Responsible for approving all decisions, running the company, and have the final say in all matters.

Directors
Will be responsible for overseeing their section. Directors will be the overall section leader and will report directly to the board members.

Managers
Will be responsible for assisting the director and is the second in charge of their section. Managers are also responsible for personnel.

Team Leaders
Team Leads are the subject experts of each section.

Employees
Employees are official members of Ripley-Weaver Corp. They are the backbone of the corporation and are its representatives throughout the verse.

Contractors
Are affiliated members of third party organisations who contribute to company business.
