History

With the conclusion of the Tevarin War and the destruction of _________ fleet, the UEE systematically terraformed and destroyed the native Tevarin populace.
Whilst performing this purge the UEE liberated human prisoners and took human sympathisers back to Terra and its allied planets.
With the destruction, anexation and colonization of Kaleeth (Elysium IV), the Tevarin were scattered to the Banu and Xi’An systems.
It was ____ years later that the Tevarins hit back against the UEE for the slight against their honor and to reclaim their stolen homeworld.
The now named ‘Second Tevarin War’ endured for 8 long years and after such an extensive amount of time, Tevarin sympathisers began to gain traction on the world Terra.
This came to a head however when the fleet headed by _________ was destroyed and the UEE erradicated almost the entire Tevarin population, now numbered at only a few hundred souls.
Many Terran and Tevarin alike were horrified by the brutal and voracious way in which the UEE treated and hunted down the Tevarin.
After the Second Tevarin War, there was a mass exodus of Terrans from the UEE member systems that after seeing the already lost Tevarins treated with such animosity sought to leave.
Those that left during the later named ‘Tevarin Exodus’ settled on systems along the outer rim.

Manifesto

Saiph: The Blood-Kin

Members of Saiph are not just members, they are brother, and they are sister. They renounce all former ties and loyalties, to become loyal to only Saiph. Rewarded in turn with a new family. Blood-Kin that are fiercely loyal to each other. Blood-kin who follow three main ideals.

Knowledge:

Guided Exploration with purpose. We seek lucrative trade-routes, resource rich systems, weaknesses among our enemies and any other information that would bring us prosperity. By learning more about the universe around us we can better understand our own place in it. Through understanding, we gain wisdom. Through wisdom, strength.

Profit:

Whether through legal or illegal means, making a profit for our brothers and sisters brings great honor to Saiph. Centuries of living on the fringes of society, has forced Saiph to become cunning in our pursuit of credits, never passing an opportunity to grow stronger. Never going as far as piracy, though a few undocumented items may have graced our vessels.

Protection:

Our final and most important ideal. Even Knowledge and Profit are but stepping stones to garner the strength to protect our brothers and sisters. The need never satisfied, Saiph seeks to grow it’s military strength that none may rival. Not to play the role of aggressor but the role of protector. Protection extends from everyone, to everyone in the brotherhood, with even a Blood-Lord willing to sacrifice himself for a fellow Blood-Kin. It is said that no Blood-Kin has ever died alone.
