History Manifesto Charter

History

The Defiant and her crew were born out of the shattered wreck of her predecessor, the Perseus-class gunship Valiant as she fought to stem an incursion across the deep space quantum lanes of the Nyx system. Beaten and broken, the Valiant stood as a bulwark with the U.E.E.S Alabama, an Idris-class Frigate which had accompanied the smaller gunship and her crew into the depths of deep space.

Broken at the beam her crew were stranded. Stranded, but not entirely out of options as the pirate fleet’s Polaris lay beaten and bruised amidst the debris fields. Her own crew working to patch the hull, bring the engines online. . And like a juicy apple on life’s great tree. She was ripe and ready for the taking.

Manifesto

The Ship’s Crew was formed with the belief that the Defiant, our Polaris-class corvette, could be more than just a frontline combat vessel. With 4.8’s latest additions to the refuel, rearm and repair system the People’s Alliance can patrol far deeper into the Glaciem Ring, for far longer. Making long-term presence patrols a very potent threat against Vanduul incursions into occupied space.

As a collective we will be largely focussed on the PvE aspects of the game, with a custom story built around the operations we do and the outcome of that story very much dependant on our success or failure. Our history is built upon that very methodology.
