WE SEARCH
WE SEE
WE FIND
WE FLEE

History

Founded unofficially in 2947, Search Corp began not with a boardroom, a budget, or a grand vision—but with a misunderstanding, a half-working scanner, and a shared survival instinct.

The corporation’s founder, PepeKeks, was a junior surveyor contracted on ArcCorp. Of all the things he expected to find during a routine ore-density scan, a derelict Nine Tails stash ship drifting into a restricted flight lane was not one of them. His first message to the team was: “Search complete, visuals confirmed, find recorded, fleeing now!”
It was meant as a panicked status update. Instead, it became the philosophy of the group.

The incident sparked recurring jokes among coworkers and friends until someone jokingly printed badges reading “Search Corp.” That joke grew into a habit… the habit into expeditions… and expeditions into a reputation. Over the next decade, Search Corp quietly evolved from a running gag into a congregation of salvagers, scouts, explorers, and opportunists who understood one truth:

In the ‘verse, discovery is valuable—but survival is priceless.

Today, Search Corp operates as a loosely structured but fiercely loyal collective. Their members roam the galaxy in anything from tiny snub ships to long-range expeditions vessels, following their guiding principle:

Look first, look well, and live long enough to have a story to tell.

Manifesto

The Principle of the First Look

To seek the unknown is not an act of bravery—it is an act of curiosity.
Search Corp exists to illuminate the dark corners of the ‘verse, whether they hide derelicts, nebulae, abandoned research posts, treasure caches, or things better left undiscovered.
We Search.

The Doctrine of Clarity

To see is to understand. Whether scanning quantum residue, reading a criminal outpost’s behavior patterns, or assessing a cavern’s structural integrity, information is our true weapon.
We See.

The Creed of the Finder

We believe that the galaxy rewards those who pay attention. Be it material salvage, scientific anomalies, lost cargo, forgotten signals, or opportunities of a more… negotiable nature, Search Corp embraces the bounty of the unknown.
We Find.

The Rule of the Last Thruster

Above all, we hold self-preservation as sacred. What worth is a find if one does not survive to cash it in? Retreat is not cowardice, it is wisdom practiced at high velocity.
We Flee.

Let others die for glory. We’ll be busy enjoying the bounty of preserverence.

  • Share knowledge freely but share loot negotiably.

Article IV – Operational Doctrine

All official Search Corp operations follow the Four-Phase Protocol:

SEARCH

Identify points of interest, anomalies, derelicts, signatures, or possible opportunities.

SEE

Confirm and survey through sensors, observation, drones, or the guy who drew the short straw and has to go look.

FIND

Recover, salvage, study, or record whatever is present, preferably before someone else notices.

Heading FourFLEE

Withdraw at the earliest sign of hostile interest, structural collapse, alien spores, or significant “gut feeling.”

Article V – Creed

May our search be bold,
our sight be clear,
our finds be profitable,
and our escape vector always plotted.
