When the Empire Forgot Humanity, We Seceded.

History

Founded in the final years of growing political fracture within the United Empire of Earth, Seceder began not as a rebellion, but as a protest movement within the ranks of the UEE Navy itself.

Its earliest members were decorated naval officers, logistics commanders, frontier marines, and intelligence personnel stationed along the outer systems during the height of escalating alien integration policies within the Empire. Many believed the Senate had grown weak. More concerned with diplomacy, corporate influence, and political appeasement than the preservation of humanity’s sovereignty and military strength.

As alien species gained expanded access to trade, military consultation, and protected status within UEE territory, dissent spread quietly through isolated fleets and frontier garrisons. Officially, these officers remained loyal servants of the Empire. Unofficially, they began forming encrypted channels, hidden supply routes, and contingency networks beyond standard naval oversight.

The breaking point came after a classified operation near the edge of explored space. An incident the UEE government still denies occurred. Records vanished. Entire crews disappeared from official archives. Survivors returned convinced that the Empire had willingly sacrificed human lives to preserve fragile diplomatic relations with non-human powers.

Within months, several warships, escorts, and support vessels vanished from UEE command.

The Senate labeled them deserters.

History would remember them as Seceder.

Led by a mysterious High Commander whose true identity remains unknown outside the organization’s inner circle, the fleet crossed beyond monitored jump routes into the uncharted reaches on the far side of the galaxy. There, hidden among lawless frontier systems and abandoned outposts, Seceder rebuilt itself into a disciplined paramilitary civilization bound by military order, secrecy, and ideological unity.

To its enemies, Seceder is a xenophobic separatist movement composed of radicals and exiles.

To its members, it is the last remnant of a humanity willing to fight for its own future.

Today, whispers of the organization spread through trade lanes, pirate networks, and abandoned naval relays. Black-armored patrol ships appear without warning along frontier routes. Supply convoys disappear. Sleeper agents inside the UEE quietly feed intelligence beyond the frontier.

And somewhere in exile, beyond the reach of the Senate and the Advocacy, the unseen leader of Seceder waits.

Manifesto

We were born beneath the banner of the Empire.
We fought its wars.
We defended its borders.
We buried our dead beneath its colours.

And in return, the United Empire of Earth abandoned its own people.

The Senate speaks endlessly of unity while humanity fractures.
It speaks of peace while frontier worlds burn.
It welcomes alien influence into the halls of power while human citizens starve, disappear, and die beyond the Core.

They call this progress.

We call it surrender.

The modern UEE no longer serves humanity.
It serves corporations, weak politicians, and the illusion that coexistence can replace strength. The Navy that once defended mankind has become a ceremonial shield for a dying order too afraid to protect its own civilization.

We refused to watch in silence.

So we seceded.

Not from humanity
but from the corruption consuming it.

Seceder stands for the preservation of human sovereignty, human survival, and human destiny among the stars. We reject dependence on alien powers. We reject the dilution of our identity for political convenience. We reject the Senate’s endless compromises that trade long-term survival for temporary peace.

We remember what the Empire has forgotten:

That the frontier was not conquered through diplomacy.
It was conquered through sacrifice.
Through discipline.
Through blood.

We do not seek chaos.
We seek order.

We do not seek extinction of others.
We seek the survival of our own.

There are those who call us traitors. Extremists. Exiles.

Yet it was the Empire that erased our fleets from its records.
The Empire that abandoned loyal crews to die in classified darkness.
The Empire that demanded obedience instead of truth.

They fear us because we left with knowledge they cannot control.

Now, beyond their borders and beyond their reach, we endure.

We have built strength where they expected collapse.
Unity where they cultivated division.
Purpose where they offered only propaganda.

Every recruit who joins our cause understands a simple truth:

Humanity’s future will not be decided in Senate chambers on Terra.
It will be decided on the frontier—where civilizations survive only through will.

One day the Empire will weaken beyond repair.
Its politicians will flee.
Its alliances will fracture.
Its illusion of control will finally die beneath the weight of its own decadence.

And when that day comes, humanity will need leaders willing to do what the Empire never could.

We will answer.

We are the forgotten fleet.
The exiles beyond the stars.
The last loyal sons and daughters of mankind.
