The Silvery Express was a corporation founded in New York, Earth in 2566 by the hands of Ella Frisk and Jean Lamela. Upon finding out a serious lack of supply for luxury food and jewelry in Terra, the Lamela family launched the brand’s name to fame by successfully exploiting the elite. In time the corporation expanded its business as well as having had a significant role in the first commercial deals with the Xi’An after the Akari/Kray Treaty. An unrivaled empire that ran for almost 3 centuries and that cemented generational friendships in the Senate and Universal party.

However, the company that employed over 3000 workers saw its demise in 2911 when SSN/CAtv broadcasted a live testimony of a former head associate linking the Lamela family to the radical transionalist movement. The High-Advocate ordered a widespread raid that resulted in the apprehension of smuggled firearms that were destined to aid infiltrated radical transionalist groups in Terra. Most of the head associates of The Silvery Express were sentenced to life and the remnants of the Lamela family fled to the Banu clusters out of fear of political persecution. The corporation was officially disbanded months later and the demolishment of the New York HQs was a motive of celebration by pro-government locals.

In 2915, Advocacy reopened the case after receiving suspicious data from an anonymous source. While its content was never revealed to the public, it lead to the apprehension of considerable amount of drugs, firearms, body augmentation parts and a variety of exotic goods. Scattered across the Kallis system, unguarded and yet very well hidden, Advocacy believes that these stashes were just a fraction of an extensive criminal network that the Lamela family kept well under wraps.
Due to insufficient proof the case never amounted to anything and by this time it seemed certain that the Lamela family was in it for the money rather than an ideological pursuit.

In 2938, a corporation by the name of Silver Lining is founded in Terra by man commonly known as “Leeu”. Terra Gazette brings up this fact in media uproar by displaying images of him alongside the Lamela during a ceremonial event as well as the trial of ’11. A discrete nightlife entrepreneur that is known in the streets of Terra for getting the “recreational needs for the right people”. The article goes further in implying him as one of the main distributors of Color in Terra and that the Advocacy have been investigating him ever since the meltdown of TSE.
Advocacy denied these claims and added that “Silver Lining is a legit business and we have no reasons to suspect illicit behavior at this point in time”.

Despite its small sized operation, the Silver Lining is making an aggressive ad campaign about their luxury food distribution by often highlighting their exclusive deal with Catshit (nr1 brand of luxury cat food). While some argue that it’s a cover up for shady activities, others embrace the oddly cheerful image of the corporation as “a turning point in the food business”
