History
Space Monkey Marine Corps History
The Space Monkey Marine Corps was created to provide the Space Monkey community with a dedicated combat and security force.
As industrial operations grew through the Monkey Wrench Fleet, it became clear that mining crews, haulers, salvagers, and support personnel needed reliable protection in the field. Escorts, bunker support, resource defense, and combat response could not remain informal side duties forever. A dedicated arm was needed for the dangerous work.
SMMC was formed to fill that role.
From its beginning, the Corps was built around practical protection rather than empty ceremony. Its purpose was to keep crews alive, defend organizational assets, and make sure missions could continue even when conditions turned hostile. Whether supporting industrial operations, securing objectives, responding to threats, or deploying alongside other Space Monkey personnel, SMMC became the force that allowed the rest of the organization to operate with confidence.
Over time, the Corps developed into the combat and security pillar of Space Monkey Universal Services. While SMUS would later bring multiple branches together under one banner, SMMC’s role remained clear: protect the people, defend the mission, and bring force where force is required.
Today, the Space Monkey Marine Corps continues to serve as the organization’s shield and spear. It supports operations across the verse through escort work, tactical deployments, fleet actions, bunker operations, and defensive security.
The mission remains simple:
Protect the organization. Support the mission. Accomplish the objective.

I. Purpose
The Space Monkey Marine Corp (SMMC) is a professional, disciplined mercenary organization operating within the lawful framework of the Star Citizen universe. Our mission is to provide elite combat support, security, and strategic assistance to clients across the ‘verse in exchange for fair compensation.
We exist to bring reliable firepower, tactical superiority, and operational professionalism to those who need it most—without crossing ethical or legal lines.
II. Code of Conduct
Integrity First – All actions must reflect honor and accountability. We do not support piracy, criminal acts, or betrayal of contracts.
Loyalty to the Mission – The contract is our directive. Once accepted, we execute with full commitment.
Discipline & Professionalism – Members are expected to maintain a high standard of behavior in and out of combat. We are elite because we act like it.
Respect the Corps – Internal unity and respect are non-negotiable. Toxicity, harassment, or insubordination will not be tolerated.

V. Structure & Command
SMMC follows a chain-of-command model, ensuring order and clarity during operations. Leadership roles are earned through merit, discipline, and trust. Orders given in combat or official operations must be followed unless they conflict with this charter or the law.
VI. Affiliations
SMMC is proud to be a brother organization to the Monkey Wrench Fleet, sharing common values of discipline, professionalism, and lawful conduct. While we operate independently, we stand in mutual support when duty calls. We may collaborate with additional allies for specific operations, but we do not answer to any authority outside UEE jurisdiction or our own command.
