History

Since our official founding in 2020, Sins Of The Ancients has been part of numerous adventures, conflicts, and changing frontiers across the gaming universe. Throughout the years, we have traveled from one game to another, adapting to new challenges while maintaining the spirit and identity that define our organization. Yet, no matter where our journey has taken us, we have always found our way back to Star Citizen—returning in full force to make our presence known, whether by bringing chaos to our enemies or restoring order to those in need.

Today, our operations are primarily centered in Pyro, where we hunt pirates, pursue hostile targets, and stand ready to assist those who find themselves in need of support. Our primary specialties are mercenary operations and bounty hunting, but our capabilities extend far beyond the battlefield. With a diverse roster of members and a willingness to take on nearly any challenge, we embrace a wide range of opportunities across the verse.

We are more than mercenaries and bounty hunters. We are an organization built on adaptability, camaraderie, and the freedom to choose our own path. Whether we are hunting criminals, supporting fellow citizens, engaging hostile forces, or simply making our mark on the galaxy, Sins Of The Ancients remains a force to be reckoned with.

From our beginnings in 2020 to the ever-changing frontier of today, our story continues to unfold. The verse is vast, its dangers are many, and our chapter is far from over.

Manifesto

*SINS OF THE ANCIENTS
The Manifesto of Our Order*
bq. Our past defines us. Our actions shape us. Our legacy will outlive us.

I. Our Purpose
We are Sins Of The Ancients.

Since our official founding in 2020, we have traveled across the ever-changing landscapes of the gaming universe, adapting to new frontiers, new conflicts, and new opportunities. Though our journey has taken us from one world to another, our path has continually led us back to the stars of the Stanton and Pyro systems, where our story continues to unfold.

We are not bound to a single trade, a single allegiance, or a single definition of what an organization should be. We are bound by our identity, our experience, and our willingness to act when others hesitate.

Our purpose is simple: to make our presence known, to protect our interests, to pursue our targets, and to offer our strength where it is needed.

We do not seek to dictate the future of the verse. We seek to carve out our place within it.

II. Our Intentions
Our intentions are shaped by the reality of the universe we inhabit. The verse is vast, its dangers are countless, and its promises are rarely fulfilled without risk. We understand that survival demands more than words, and that reputation is earned through action.

Our primary operations lie within Pyro, a region where lawlessness thrives and strength is often the only language understood. There, we pursue pirates, hunt hostile targets, undertake mercenary contracts, and confront those who threaten our operations or the lives of others.

Yet we do not mistake lawlessness for freedom, nor do we believe that every encounter must end in conflict.

We will fight when fighting is necessary. We will negotiate when negotiation serves a purpose. We will lend our aid when the cause is worthy, and we will stand beside those who have earned our trust.

We intend to remain adaptable, capable, and independent—a force able to respond to the changing needs of the verse without surrendering the identity that brought us here.

III. Our Motives
We make no claim to sainthood, nor do we pretend that every action we take is born of charity.

We are mercenaries. We are bounty hunters. We are pilots, fighters, operators, and individuals who have chosen to stand together beneath a shared name.

We understand the value of a contract, the weight of a reputation, and the price of failure. Our work may be driven by opportunity, necessity, loyalty, or the simple desire to see a task completed. Whatever the motive, we believe that our actions must speak louder than our promises.

We pursue our interests because no one else will secure them for us. We accept contracts because capability has value. We hunt pirates because the threat they pose is real, and we assist those in need because strength without purpose is little more than intimidation.

We seek neither universal approval nor the illusion of moral perfection. We seek respect earned through our deeds, loyalty forged through shared hardship, and a legacy built by those willing to carry our name.

IV. Our Principles
Though our methods may change with the circumstances, certain principles remain at the heart of Sins Of The Ancients.

Adaptability over stagnation. The verse is constantly changing, and so must we. We embrace new opportunities, learn from defeat, and move forward when others remain behind.

Capability over empty promises. Words may establish intentions, but actions establish credibility. We measure ourselves by what we accomplish, the challenges we overcome, and the commitments we fulfill.

Loyalty through mutual respect. An organization is only as strong as the people who comprise it. We value those who contribute, stand beside their fellow members, and understand that trust is earned through conduct rather than demanded through rank.

Strength with purpose. We possess the means to fight, but conflict is not our only answer. We recognize the value of restraint, cooperation, and assistance when circumstances call for them.

Freedom of action. We do not believe there is only one way to make a living in the verse. Mercenary work and bounty hunting may define our primary specialties, but we welcome the many trades, professions, and opportunities that allow our members to contribute to the organization.

A legacy of our own making. We inherit no destiny and claim no predetermined greatness. Our history is written by our decisions, our victories, our failures, and the actions of every member who carries our name forward.

V. Our View of the Verse
The universe does not owe us safety, prosperity, or justice. These are things individuals and organizations must pursue through their own choices and actions.

We recognize that the verse is neither wholly righteous nor wholly corrupt. Governments, corporations, independent operators, pirates, and mercenaries all pursue their own interests, each with their own justifications. We do not assume that a uniform guarantees honor or that a wanted designation tells the entire story.

We judge situations by their circumstances, the conduct of those involved, and the consequences of the choices before us.

This does not mean we stand without convictions. We oppose those who threaten our people, prey upon those unable to defend themselves, or bring needless danger to those under our protection. We reserve the right to decide where we stand, whom we support, and which battles deserve our involvement.

We will not blindly follow another’s cause simply because it is popular, profitable, or sanctioned by authority. Our allegiances are determined by our interests, our principles, and the judgment of our organization.

In the end, the verse belongs to no single power. It is shaped by everyone willing to venture into it, challenge its dangers, and accept the consequences of their actions.

We intend to be among them.

VI. Our Place in Pyro
Pyro is not a place for the unprepared. Its dangers demand vigilance, its conflicts demand resolve, and its opportunities demand those willing to take risks.

It is here that we have chosen to establish much of our presence.

We hunt pirates, pursue bounties, undertake mercenary operations, and answer the call when others require capable support. We understand that our presence may bring conflict, but we also understand that our skills can bring relief, security, and opportunity to those who might otherwise stand alone.

We do not enter Pyro under the illusion that we can eliminate every threat or bring lasting order to a system defined by instability. We enter knowing what it is, prepared to operate within its realities, and determined to shape our own place in its future.

To our allies, we offer cooperation and capable support.

To those who seek our assistance, we offer the opportunity to stand with a force prepared to act.

To our adversaries, we offer no guarantee of an easy victory.

And to those who mistake our willingness to help for an inability to fight, we offer a simple reminder: compassion and capability are not mutually exclusive.

VII. Our Commitment to One Another
Sins Of The Ancients is more than a name carried across communications channels or a designation attached to a ship’s registry. It is an organization sustained by the people who choose to be part of it.

We recognize that every member brings different skills, ambitions, and experiences. Not all will fly the same ships, pursue the same professions, or favor the same methods. Our strength lies in our ability to bring those differences together when the moment demands it.

We expect our members to contribute to the organization’s continued growth, respect those who stand beside them, and understand that their actions reflect upon more than themselves.

We do not demand that every member be a master of every trade. We seek individuals willing to learn, willing to participate, and willing to stand with the organization when their presence matters.

Our unity does not require uniformity. It requires a shared understanding that we are stronger when our abilities complement one another.

Together, we can hunt, defend, trade, explore, fight, negotiate, and undertake the countless other endeavors the verse places before us.

VIII. Our Legacy
Since 2020, our journey has taken us through different games, different communities, and different chapters of our history. We have adapted, moved forward, and returned to the stars time and again.

Our return to Star Citizen is not simply a continuation of old habits. It is another chapter in an ongoing story—a renewed opportunity to test our capabilities, strengthen our bonds, and establish what Sins Of The Ancients will become.

We do not measure our legacy solely in victories, completed contracts, or defeated adversaries. We measure it in the reputation we establish, the people we stand beside, the challenges we overcome, and the mark we leave upon the verse.

We accept that our organization will change. Our strategies may evolve, our operations may expand, and our members may come and go. But as long as there are those willing to carry our name forward, our story will continue.

We are not the first to venture into the darkness, and we will not be the last. But we will determine for ourselves what our presence means.

IX. Our Declaration
We are Sins Of The Ancients.

We stand as mercenaries when the contract demands it, bounty hunters when our targets must be brought to account, and allies when others require our strength.

We will pursue our interests without forgetting the value of cooperation. We will fight without making war our only purpose. We will assist without surrendering our independence. We will adapt without abandoning our identity.

We recognize no obligation to be universally loved, no need to be universally feared, and no desire to pretend that the verse is simpler than it truly is.

We seek to be capable, dependable to those who earn our trust, dangerous to those who threaten us, and remembered for the choices we make.

Our history brought us here. Our actions will determine what comes next.

We are Sins Of The Ancients.

We choose our path. We answer for our actions. We forge our own legacy.

The verse is vast. Our story is unfinished. Our time is now.
