A welcoming, beginner-friendly Star Citizen community built around helping each other learn, playing together, and treating everyone with respect. No experience, expensive ships, or mandatory roleplay required. Come learn, explore, and find your place in the ‘verse!

History

This org was created to achieve something that can sometimes be surprisingly difficult to find: a place where people can learn, participate, and enjoy the game without feeling unwelcome.

Through helping new players in Star Citizen, I’ve encountered people who have experienced unnecessary pressure, dismissive attitudes, or unwelcoming environments in other organizations. I’ve also experienced what it’s like to try to ask questions or get involved, only to feel like doing so is somehow a problem.

This org is my attempt to build the kind of community I’ve wanted to find: one where new players can find guidance, experienced players can share what they know, and everyone has room to enjoy Star Citizen in their own way.

We’re still growing, and that’s part of the opportunity. Rather than inheriting an established culture, we have the chance to build one around respect, patience, cooperation, and a shared desire to enjoy the game together.

Manifesto

The game is better when everyone has a place in it.

Star Citizen is a vast and complicated universe. There is always something new to learn, another skill to develop, and another experience to share. No one starts as an expert, and no one should be made to feel lesser for it.

We believe a strong organization is built on its people, not their ships, experience, or time played.

Respect is the baseline. Questions are welcome. Mistakes are part of learning. Different levels of experience and different playstyles are not reasons to look down on one another.

Participation should be an opportunity, not an obligation. We want our members to have opportunities to fly together, learn together, and contribute to the community without feeling pressured to be constantly available or to play a particular way.

Knowledge is meant to be shared. Experienced players can help others find their footing, and everyone has something they can contribute. Helping someone learn is just as worthwhile as completing a mission or winning a fight.

Our goal isn’t to dictate how people should experience Star Citizen. It’s to create a place where they can experience it together, on their own terms, among people who respect them.

We aren’t here to prove that we’re better than anyone else. We’re here to build something worth being part of.

Charter

Membership and conduct

  • Treat others with respect. Harassment, personal insults, belittling people for asking questions, and deliberately making others feel unwelcome have no place here.
  • Help without superiority. Members are encouraged to share knowledge and assist others. Nobody is expected to know everything.
  • Respect individual boundaries. Members have different schedules, interests, and levels of commitment. Real life comes first, and nobody is expected to be constantly online.
  • Make room for others. Members should be able to ask questions, offer ideas, and participate in conversations without being dismissed or talked down to.
  • Handle disagreements constructively. Differences of opinion are inevitable. Address them maturely rather than turning them into personal attacks.

Playing together

  • Our primary focus is enjoying Star Citizen together, helping players learn, and making it easier for members to find others to play with.
  • All experience levels are welcome. There are no ship ownership, skill, or playtime requirements for belonging.
  • Members are free to pursue the activities they enjoy. Combat, hauling, exploration, salvaging, and everything else all have a place.
  • Organized events and group activities are encouraged, but participation is voluntary.
  • Roleplay is not a requirement. Optional roleplay activities may be introduced if members are interested in organizing them.

Growing together

This organization is still growing, and members have an opportunity to help shape its future. Suggestions, constructive criticism, and initiative are welcome.

Leadership is responsible for upholding the standards of the organization and addressing behavior that undermines its environment. These expectations apply to everyone, regardless of experience, rank, or position.

Joining this org means agreeing to treat fellow members with respect and to help maintain the kind of community described here.

You don’t have to be good, but you do have to be nice.
