In 2944, amid the turbulence of corporate consolidation and border system unrest, two unlikely entrepreneurs—Peter Pleite, a bankrupt freighter captain with nothing left to lose, and Kurt Schrott, a former scrapyard engineer with a knack for salvaging more than just metal—founded SP Industrys.

Their vision was simple but bold: create a company that could survive the chaos of the stars by offering something rare—trust. Starting from a decommissioned hangar in the outskirts of the Terra system, SP Industrys began as a small security escort outfit for underinsured cargo haulers. With retrofitted ships, salvaged tech, and a fierce determination to outfly pirates and outthink corrupt port authorities, the duo built a reputation one job at a time.

By 2950, SP Industrys had expanded into trade logistics. Contracts with frontier colonies and independent stations followed, cementing their role as a key provider in volatile sectors. Their new flagship “*UEES Greasy Unicorn” served during the attacks on Stanton in the year 1954 marking SP Industrys move into the Security sector.

Today, SP Industrys operates across dozens of systems, from the trade hubs of Terra to the unstable fringe of Pyro. Though Kurt Schrott has since disappeared during a deep-space scouting mission and Peter Pleite now oversees operations from a fortified station in the Terra system, their legacy endures: a company forged in scrap, surviving on grit, and thriving in the void.
