Squadron 24 is a dedicated exploration and reconnaissance unit operating on the frontier edges of known space. We specialize in charting the uncharted, gathering intelligence, and pushing deeper into the black than most dare to go.

History

Squadron 24 traces its lineage to a classified reconnaissance detachment within the UEE Navy during the late 28th century. The original unit — unofficially known as “The Twenty‑Four” — was composed of elite pilots, analysts, and scouts selected for their precision, discipline, and ability to operate far beyond standard patrol routes.

These veterans served in:
Long‑range recon missions along unstable borders
Deep‑space anomaly investigations
Covert observation of Vanduul fleet movements
High‑risk rescue and recovery operations
Their work was quiet, uncelebrated, and often unrecorded — but essential.

Manifesto

1. Curiosity Above All
We believe curiosity is humanity’s greatest engine. Every anomaly scanned, every derelict uncovered, every jump point charted brings us closer to understanding the vastness around us. We do not wander aimlessly — we explore with intention.

2. Precision Over Chaos
Exploration is not guesswork. Recon is not improvisation. We operate with discipline, clarity, and purpose. Our strength lies in preparation, coordination, and the ability to adapt without losing focus.

3. Strength Through Unity
A lone pilot can discover much, but a squadron can uncover the truth. We move as a team, support each other, and ensure that no one faces the unknown alone. Our bonds are our shield.

4. Security as a Necessity, Not a Goal
We are not warmongers. We do not seek conflict. But we understand that the frontier is dangerous, and knowledge is often contested. Our Security Wing exists to protect our people, our discoveries, and our mission — nothing more, nothing less.

Charter

Squadron 24 is established to explore, observe, and understand the uncharted regions of space. Our primary mission is the discovery, documentation, and analysis of stellar phenomena, planetary bodies, and emergent threats. Our secondary mission is the protection of our personnel, assets, and discoveries through disciplined security operations.

We exist to expand humanity’s knowledge while safeguarding those who pursue it.
