In the criminal justice system sexually based offense are considered especially heinous. In SPACE, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as SPACE Special Victims Unit. These are their stories.

History

SSVU didn’t start as an organization. It started as a problem. Specifically, the Grim Hex problem—where laws are suggestions, elevators are nightmares, and space pedos and quantum flashers treat the ‘verse like their personal bathroom stall.

Our founder, PartHomo Sapien, had his breaking point in a Grim Hex elevator incident that flipped the “ignore it and move on” switch permanently to off. What followed was a short, violent era of grassroots enforcement. If you were a creep and you felt unsafe in your own hangar for a while? That wasn’t paranoia. That was PartHomo.

Eventually, even righteous rage runs into logistical issues: heat from local gangs, inconvenient bounty postings, and the realization that strangling degenerates between ship refuels isn’t scalable. So the mission evolved.

SSVU was formed to take that same energy and weaponize it professionally. Today, we operate mostly within UEE law, running legitimate bounties and sanctioned contracts. Mostly. When the law stops short, paperwork gets lost, or predators hide behind jurisdictional bullshit, we’re perfectly comfortable stepping into the gray. Pirates, fixers, criminals with standards—if it gets the job done, we’ll talk.

Everyone who joins SSVU is here for the same reason: they’re sick of the rot. Sick of people using anonymity, distance, or “lol it’s just a game” as cover for acting like absolute trash—whether that’s in dark stations or open chat. We exist because someone has to draw the line, and we’re already wanted in half the system anyway.

When perverts Run to deep space,
SSVU will be there.

Manifesto

We are the ones who show up when everyone else looks away.
We hunt space pedos, quantum flashers, and every other degenerate who thinks distance or anonymity makes them untouchable.
We don’t do heroics. We don’t do lectures. We don’t let morals, optics, or feel-good bullshit get in the way of results. When a target slips through the cracks of law and order, we step in. Contracts, bounties, gray-area deals—whatever it takes to make sure predators don’t get comfortable.
Order may be blind. SSVU isn’t.
SSVU doesn’t forgive. SSVU doesn’t forget.
We are pest control. We are consequences.
We are SSVU.
