Overview
Starbound Exploration was founded in 2942 by seasoned hauler Carl Dolan, who spent most of his life navigating the lanes between Stanton, Nyx, and beyond. With a deep love for the unknown and a firm belief in the value of perseverance, Dolan launched Starbound from a modest hangar in New Babbage. His goal was simple: to explore beyond the charts and provide dependable transport to the frontier.

Early Work
Starbound cut its teeth on freight and support contracts between microTech, Crusader, and remote outposts on Daymar and Yela. Known for taking on routes others wouldn’t, the company earned quiet respect for its discipline, safety record, and grit in challenging conditions like the Aaron Halo or outer Hurston orbit.

Present Day (2955)
As of 2955, Starbound remains a small but steadily growing organization. With a handful of long-range vessels, a loyal crew, and a few promising leads beyond Stanton, it continues to chase Carl Dolan’s dream—one jump at a time. They may not be the biggest name in the ‘verse, but their course is clear:
