WOLFIRON SECURITY
Independent Contract Security Group
UEE Aligned Privately Commanded
People argue about when WolfIron Security actually started.
Some say it began in Pyro back when contracts still meant something and dying on the wrong side of a jump point was just bad luck. Others say it came together later after too many escort jobs turned into running fights and too many routine recoveries were quietly written off once the bill climbed too high.
Truth is WolfIron did not start as a company.
It started as people surviving the same jobs and realizing that was not an accident.
HOW IT REALLY BEGAN
Back then most security work followed the same pattern. Corporations hired fast paid fast and disappeared even faster when things went wrong. The UEE covered what it could but space is big and paperwork does not stop gunfire.
A few crews kept crossing paths. Same pilots same medics same ground operators. Not because they planned it but because when a job got ugly they were the ones still breathing at the end.
They did not talk much about it. They shared ammo traded routes and made sure someone was watching their six.
That was the pack long before anyone called it that.
THE FOUNDERS
WolfIron Security was built by three people who filled different gaps and kept the whole thing from collapsing.
Grimm was the most visible.
A fighter pilot with a short fuse and a reputation for flying like his ship could take anything the verse threw at it. Grimm drew attention wherever he went. Loud confident and reckless enough to be remembered. Contracts followed him and so did trouble. Whether he liked it or not Grimm became the face of WolfIron. The poster boy people recognized even if command wished he would dial it back.
Nova stayed behind the curtain.
A true pilot in the old sense Nova understood ships the way others understood instinct. Power flow hull stress flight envelopes failure points. Nova knew what would break before it did and how to keep a ship flying long past the point it should have been scrap. Just as important Nova became a source of information. Routes rumors station traffic and quiet warnings about which jobs were about to turn bad. If WolfIron walked into a situation prepared it was usually because Nova already knew what waited there.
Ackillies made WolfIron viable.
Where the others focused on flying and fighting Ackillies focused on staying legitimate. He understood contracts UEE regulations and how to make good money without crossing lines that would bring permanent attention. He found work that paid slower but paid longer and kept WolfIron operating without selling itself to corporations that treated crews as expendable assets.
Together they turned survival into something repeatable.
STEELFANG
STEELFANG is the WolfIron Security SID Spectrum ID.
It is the identifier used for command traffic contract negotiation and high level coordination. Messages sent from STEELFANG represent WolfIron as a whole rather than any individual member.
When STEELFANG speaks on Spectrum it carries the weight of the organization. It is how WolfIron maintains a single voice across multiple ships systems and crews while keeping personal identities out of the public channel.
If you deal with STEELFANG you are dealing with WolfIron Security.
WHEN WOLFIRON GOT A NAME
By the time people started asking who was behind certain operations WolfIron already existed in everything but paperwork.
Ships moved together. Callsigns were shared. Extraction points were premarked. When someone went down someone else went back for them even when it was not profitable.
The name WolfIron stuck because it fit.
Wolves survive as a pack.
Iron does not bend when pressure gets ugly.
Registering as WolfIron Security came later once contracts grew larger and the UEE needed something to point to on a ledger. Officially it is an independent security force.
Unofficially it is a group of people who got tired of being expendable.
HOW THEY OPERATE
WolfIron takes the jobs others hesitate on.
Not because they are reckless but because they plan like the worst outcome is already waiting.
They do not promise safety.
They do not sell heroics.
They promise preparation discipline and an exit plan that does not vanish halfway through the job.
They are known for high risk escorts through bad space recoveries everyone else calls lost and sensitive corporate problems that need solving quietly.
They are also known for something else.
If you sign on with WolfIron you do not get abandoned.
Ships can be replaced. Gear can be written off. People do not get left behind unless there is no other option and even then someone is coming back.
That reputation has made them valuable to some corporations and completely unacceptable to others.
WolfIron does not care much either way.
WHERE THEY STAND NOW
WolfIron Security stays small by design.
They do not recruit openly. They do not chase fame. If you are wearing their mark it is because someone already knows what you can do and trusts you not to fold when things go wrong.
Out here the verse does not reward optimism.
It rewards preparation.
WORDS YOU WILL HEAR AROUND THEM
Contracts end.
The pack does not.

WELCOME TO WOLFIRON SECURITY
Ironclad serves as primary operational command and decision authority within WolfIron Security. This unit functions as the A-Team and is responsible for planning, execution, and final calls during contracts.
Steelpack serves as the secondary operational element. Steelpack members are required to work in tandem with Ironclad command and follow all issued directives during operations.
During active contracts, all members must follow Ironclad command direction to ensure coordination, safety, and mission success.
Steelpack members are expected to support Ironclad objectives and maintain assigned roles, formations, or tasking. Independent action during contracts requires command approval.
Clear, professional communication is mandatory during operations. Mission-critical callouts take priority over casual conversation.
WolfIron Security operates as a professional mercenary organization. Griefing, trolling, reckless behavior, or actions that endanger fellow members or clients are not tolerated.
Disputes or disagreements are to be handled after contracts conclude. Operational channels are not the place for arguments.
Members are expected to respect rank, role assignments, and leadership decisions at all times.
WolfIron Security operates under a three-strike policy.
Upon a third strike, WolfIron Security will place a substantial bounty on the offending member’s character. Once you burn the pack, you become a contract. Do not fuck around and find out.
Severe misconduct, repeated insubordination, or actions that significantly damage the organization’s reputation may result in immediate dismissal and bounty placement without prior strikes.
Members are expected to operate as part of a unit. Reliability and coordination take priority over individual performance.
If you are unavailable or need to disengage from an operation, notify command as early as possible.
New members will be evaluated during initial operations to ensure reliability, discipline, and fit within WolfIron Security.
When you fly under the WolfIron banner, your actions represent the entire organization. Protect the pack, or become prey.
