We are an independent insurgent movement in the Stanton system, committing acts of “piracy” in the name of egalitarianism and the overthrow of the corporate oligarchy in control of the system. Whilst we may be small and weak currently, we shall pursue rapid membership growth to aid our insurgency.
History
The Stanton Independent Insurgency is an insurgent group that has recently taken hold in the Stanton system in reaction to it’s practical sale to the various megacorporations that now control it, they fight and commit various acts of sabotage and espionage in the name of egalitarianism and democracy, hoping to establish a new order among Stanton’s many planets.
Manifesto
Workers and oppressed citizens of the Stanton system, we live in dark times, the corporate dominions have established a new hegemony around our great star, abused and polluted our planets and pushed the working people into adverse stratification and poverty! But the end of this oppression is not so far away, finally we shall unite under one banner and drive the oppressors from our lands! Viva la revolution!
We endeavour to establish a free and democratic republic, independent of the empire and megacorporation’s rule by any means necessary, we embrace the ideals of social equality, so that no persons life may be valued above any other, workplace democracy in the form of equally distributed company voting shares, progressive taxation to redistribute wealth and proportionally representative parliamentary democracy to ensure representation for all our citizens.
Charter
These are the commandments set by the Insurgencies provisional General Secretariat:
1. We shall fight for a free, equal and independent republic, self sustaining and able to protect itself.
2. In this fight we shall use any means to achieve our goals.
3. The means we use to achieve our goal should not cause excess civilian death.
4. Whilst in Insurgency we shall share resources according to the operational needs of our fighters.
