Saglan & Thyme Industries
Forging Tomorrow’s Frontier.

Founded on the belief that progress is not a privilege but a process, Saglan & Thyme Industries (S&T) stands at the intersection of industry and exploration.
We build the infrastructure that keeps humanity moving forward together.

History

Our Origin

Born in the waning decades of the 29th century, S&T began as a partnership between Korin Saglan, a veteran UEE industrial surveyor, and Dr. Mara Thyme, a xenobiologist turned visionary entrepreneur.
Their union of pragmatism and idealism gave rise to a company that would bridge two worlds: the gleaming corridors of commerce and the rough edges of the frontier.

From the cargo docks of ArcCorp to the ice fields of MicroTech, S&T earned its name by taking the contracts no one else would delivering where navmaps ended and risk began.

Today, S&T continues that legacy: a conglomerate built not on idealism, but on the iron law of utility if it moves, it can be sold; if it breaks, it can be rebuilt.

Manifesto

Corporate Divisions
Saglan Logistics

“We move what others fear.”
Cargo transport, freight routing, and high-risk logistics. From lawful trade to remote delivery contracts, the backbone of S&T’s economy.

Thyme Exploration & Extraction

“The frontier feeds the forge.”
Mining, salvage, and planetary resource acquisition. We push the boundaries of what’s known and claim what others abandon.

S&T Security Solutions

“Steel before loss.”
Private escort operations, industrial defense contracts, and security for high-value assets. Discretion guaranteed.

Corporate Ethos

“Steel. Stars. Strategy.”

S&T’s philosophy is simple: value is made, not found.
Our members embody that ideal pilots, traders, and industrialists who understand that success in the ‘verse isn’t luck; it’s logistics.

We don’t chase glory.
We build it, weld it, and haul it home.

Charter

The Saglan & Thyme Industries Corporate Charter
Approved under Directive 23-A of the U.E.E. Industrial Expansion Act
Preamble

In an empire built on stars and steel, progress must be manufactured, maintained, and enforced.
Saglan & Thyme Industries was founded upon this truth that humanity’s reach must be extended not by words or will alone, but by the hands of those willing to build it.

Thus, by the authority of the Founding Partners, the following Charter governs all employees, contractors, and divisions operating under the S&T banner.

Article I – The Prime Directive

“Utility is Virtue.”

All actions undertaken in the name of S&T must serve one of three outcomes:

Profit: Does it generate measurable value?

Progress: Does it expand our reach or capacity?

Preservation: Does it protect our people, assets, or reputation?

If it fulfills none of these, it is inefficiency and inefficiency is waste.

Article II – Conduct of the Collective

Professionalism Above All: Every employee represents the Company conduct yourself as such, even on the frontier.

Chain of Command: Orders flow from the Directors downward. Questioning is permitted; disobedience is not.

Non-Disclosure: Internal operations, clients, and cargo manifests are classified under Company Seal unless cleared for publication.

Fraternity of the Forge: We aid one another in the field. An abandoned operative is a stain upon the Company.

Article III – Operational Doctrine

The Saglan Standard: Every job from freight run to recovery op will be completed safely, efficiently, and discreetly.

Frontier Protocol: In unregulated space, the highest authority is the survival of S&T personnel and property.

Mutual Benefit Clause: All members shall pursue personal success through the success of the Company.

Asset Reclamation Rights: Abandoned materials, derelicts, or unclaimed cargo discovered during operations belong to S&T by default.

Article IV – Security and Secrecy

Corporate Security Division holds the right to inspect, confiscate, or detain assets under suspicion of breach or espionage.

Weapons and Warfare: Force is authorized when diplomacy fails, or when Company property is endangered.

The Silent Ledger: Financial records and trade routes are restricted to Division Heads and the Saglan Chair.

Breach Penalty: Leaking, selling, or falsifying company data is considered a terminal offense contractual termination with prejudice.

Article V – Creed of the Founders

“Steel remembers its shape, even in the fire.” Dr. Mara Thyme
“Every world is a factory waiting for someone brave enough to start the machines.” — Korin Saglan

Thus we labor not as cogs, but as creators for every haul, every shipment, and every reclaimed wreck is another piece of humanity’s future, built by those who refuse to wait for permission.
