History

Strategic Warfare Operations and Research Division traces its origins to quiet contracts and unofficial tasking tied to UEE interests along remote systems. Operating outside public registries, SWORD was established to observe emerging threats, evaluate combat doctrines, and test response strategies without drawing attention. Rather than expanding its ranks, the division remained intentionally small, prioritizing discretion, discipline, and operational clarity. Little is known about its internal structure, but its presence is often felt where preparation matters more than force. SWORD continues to operate in the margins, gathering knowledge and refining readiness for conflicts the wider verse has yet to notice.

Manifesto

SWORD exists to prepare for threats before they are recognized. We value discipline over numbers, precision over noise, and knowledge over reputation. Our operations are deliberate, our presence minimal, and our objectives aligned with long term stability in the verse. We do not seek attention or expansion. Readiness is the mission. When conflict arrives, SWORD will already be in position.

Charter of the Strategic Warfare Operations and Research Division (SWORD)

► Article I: Name
The name of this organization shall be Strategic Warfare Operations and Research Division, hereafter referred to as SWORD.

► Article II: Purpose
SWORD is dedicated to the advancement of tactical warfare strategies, operational research, and the development of technologies to enhance the effectiveness of space combat and exploration within the Star Citizen universe.

► The organization aims to achieve the following objectives:

⁍ Strategic Development: Create and refine strategies for military operations in the diverse environments of Star Citizen.
⁍ Research Initiatives: Conduct research to explore new technologies, tactics, and methodologies that improve operational efficiency and combat effectiveness.
⁍ Collaboration and Training: Foster collaboration among members and provide training programs to enhance skills in various aspects of space combat and research.
⁍ Resource Acquisition: Engage in mining, trading, and exploration to acquire resources essential for research and operational success.
⁍ Community Engagement: Contribute to the Star Citizen community by sharing knowledge and insights on warfare strategies and technologies.

► Article III: Membership

Eligibility: Membership is open to all players interested in military strategy, research, and operational excellence within the Star Citizen universe.
Application Process: Prospective members must submit an application detailing their interest, relevant experience, and skills. Current members will vote on membership approval.

Member Responsibilities:
Actively participate in organizational activities and operations.
Adhere to the code of conduct and uphold the values of SWORD.
Contribute to research and strategic development initiatives.

► Article IV: Structure: Leadership Council:

⁍ Director: The overall leader of SWORD, responsible for setting the vision and strategy of the organization.
⁍ Research Officer: Oversees research initiatives and coordinates research teams.
⁍ Operations Officer: Manages operational planning and execution of missions.
⁍ Training Officer: Develops and implements training programs for members.
⁍ Communications Officer: Manages internal and external communications, ensuring the dissemination of important information.

► Divisions:

Tactical Operations Division: Focuses on planning and executing combat missions.
Research and Development Division: Engages in technological research and development projects.
Logistics and Support Division: Responsible for resource management, supply chains, and member support.

► Article V: Code of Conduct

All members of SWORD are expected to adhere to the following principles:

► Article VI: Amendments

This charter may be amended with a two-thirds majority vote from the Leadership Council and a simple majority from the general membership. Proposed amendments must be shared with all members at least one week prior to the vote.

► Article VII: Dissolution

In the event that SWORD must be dissolved, any remaining assets will be distributed to a charity or organization determined by the Leadership Council.
