SYNDOOM INDUSTRIES… What don’t we do…
Incorporating in the Stanton System in 2949, Syndoom Industries was formed by a group of individuals who frequently worked together in a loose alliance. As their activities aligned more and more, Syndoom Industries was established to formalise this partnership in order to collectively better the lives and opportunities of corporation employees.
Our Board of Directors is made up of these founding individuals who work together to continue the growth of Syndoom Industries. We work with like minded Corporations and individuals who understand that fair and equal treatment of employees is of paramount importance. Our divisions work in Acquisitions and Mining, Explorations, Logistics and Security.
Syndoom Industries believes in the fair treatment of all employees and affiliate organisations. We believe in honourable behaviour and transactions with partners, and seek to affiliate with other organisations who hold those same beliefs. Our primary divisions are below, however we also operate smaller secondary divisions for tasks that support primary divisions.
Our Acquisitions division primarily deals with the extraction of raw minerals through mining operations, with support when needed from Logistics and Military divisions depending on location and risk factors.
Our Logistics division provides logistical support internally to our Military and Acquisition divisions, as well as for contracted 3rd parties. This can vary from simple cargo haulage to military deployment missions.
Our Military division is the security force of the organisation, deploying to wherever other divisions, affiliate organisations or contracted 3rd parties require assistance. We primarily use military deployment as a defensive deterrent however with authorisation it may also used to bring criminals to justice.
The Administration division provides the services to ensure the smooth running of Syndoom Industries. They control corporate financing, liaise with all divisions to anticipate internal services required, securing contracts on behalf of the organisation, form relationships with other organisations and handle member recruiting.
Syndoom Industries employees must always uphold the image of the corporation in their day to day business. We are a merit based organisation and employees will be assigned a rank based on their standing and abilities.
The Board of Directors are the controlling authority within Syndoom Industries. All major decisions are approved by a Board vote. The Board is also responsible for appointing officers and charging them with areas of responsibility.
A Senior Officer reports directly to the Board of Directors and is in charge of a department within Syndoom Industries. Senior Officers can communicate with the Board of Directors to discuss items such as trading routes, military support and exploration priorities. A Senior officer will control a large group of individuals, and it will be their responsibility to ensure their departments work well and the employees working for them have all the tools needed to work most efficiently.
An Officer will typically manage a subsection of a department, at the discretion of their commanding Senior Officer, meaning an Officer will work alongside other Officers to ensure the smooth running of the department they work in. An Officer reports directly to the Senior Officer of their department. Assignment of an Officer requires the recommendation of a Senior Officer to the Board of Directors for approval. Officers of a department have the ability to promote Members to Senior Members when a Member has proved their value to Syndoom Industries.
A Senior Member usually acts as a team leader within Syndoom Industries. This is the first step towards a leadership role, with a Senior Member assisting Officers with the management of other Members, whilst reporting directly to a Commanding Officer. Promotion to a Senior Member is at the discretion of Officers within their department.
A Member is the first full employee rank within Syndoom Industries. Upon passing through the probationary Cadet position, a Member will be assigned to a department with a Commanding Officer. They will work with other Members and Senior Members to further the causes of Syndoom Industries.
A Cadet is a probationary position assigned to employees new to Syndoom Industries, where they can be evaluated by Officer and above ranked employees. A Cadet can be assigned tasks from multiple departments and monitored to see how well these tasks are performed, usually being assigned 1 or more Senior Member to report to. The time as a Cadet will be used to establish which areas an individual excels at and which department they will likely end up in upon their promotion to a Member.
