History
The origins of the Blacktail Marauders are buried somewhere in the cold darkness between the stars. According to legend, the organization began with a small crew of outcasts, smugglers, and scavengers abandoned after a disastrous corporate expedition beyond known trade routes. With no rescue coming and supplies running low, the survivors learned to live outside the law.
Led by a mysterious captain known only as the Monkey King, the crew seized their first freighter while attempting to steal fuel for survival. What began as desperation soon became opportunity. News of their success spread through hidden stations, forgotten outposts, and pirate havens across the frontier. More crews joined their banner, attracted by promises of freedom, fortune, and a life beyond corporate control.
Over the years, the Blacktail Marauders evolved from a single raiding crew into a feared pirate fleet. Their ships became infamous for appearing without warning along major trade routes, striking quickly before vanishing into deep space. Merchants spoke of black-tailed banners drifting through asteroid fields, while security forces struggled to track their movements.
Unlike many pirate groups, the Marauders valued loyalty above greed. Captains maintained their independence but united under a common code: respect the crew, share the spoils, and never bow to empires or corporations.

Manifesto
We reject the chains of empires, corporations, and false authorities that claim ownership of the stars.
The void belongs to no government. No company forged the asteroids, lit the suns, or created the endless darkness between worlds. Yet they draw borders across space and demand obedience from those who dare travel it.
We refuse.
The Blacktail Marauders were born from the frontier, where survival is earned and freedom is taken. We do not kneel to bureaucrats, executives, or admirals. We chart our own course, make our own fortunes, and answer only to the crew that stands beside us.

Charter
Article I – Purpose
The Blacktail Marauders exist to pursue freedom, profit, adventure, and influence among the stars. The organization shall operate as an independent pirate fleet bound by loyalty, cooperation, and mutual benefit.
Article II – Authority
The organization shall be led by the Monkey King and appointed officers. Leadership is responsible for organizing operations, maintaining discipline, resolving disputes, and protecting the interests of the fleet.
Article III – Membership
Any individual may seek membership regardless of origin, profession, or background, provided they demonstrate loyalty, competence, and respect for the organization.
Members who repeatedly endanger the fleet, betray fellow Marauders, or violate the Charter may be removed at leadership’s discretion.
Article IV – Code of Conduct
Loyalty to the crew comes first.
Respect fellow Marauders.
Follow operational commands during missions.
Do not steal from members of the organization.
Maintain professionalism during fleet operations.

Article V – Operations

Profits earned through organizational activities may be distributed according to participation, contribution, and operational requirements. Leadership reserves the right to allocate resources for fleet growth and future operations.
