Founding

The Forge began actively recruiting in the second half of 2954, with combat trials taking place aboard the Indefatigable (Polaris class Corvette) through the ‘Save Stanton’ events.

‘Save Stanton’ action

During the 2954 ‘Save Stanton’ events the Indy scored her first significant combat action with 3 Idris kills to her name and many more in fighter craft.
After this the Forge began training for combined arms operations and testing weapon loadouts for effective away team operations; this was put to use in multiple expeditions into the murky contested zones of Pyro.

Notable actions 2955

In 2955 the crew aboard the Indy had further success in ship to ship combat; destroying hostile Polaris and completing well equpped bounty targets. The newly established away team fought and won against the Valakkar variant known as ‘Yormandi’ multiple times.
The Indy also participated in inter-org fleet battles, standing out amongst her peers for her contributions to the battle.

Activity in 2956

So far in 2956, the crew of the Indy has continued to train and improve through various mercenary work and training events.
The crew has seen much success in Nyx against both Vanduul forces and organised smuggling rings. The away team proved themselves while securing rock breaker QV stations for rare ore extraction.

Tactical Strike Group operations in Nyx

Most recently the crew has engaged in Tactical Strike Group operations in Nyx to a high degree of success. The Indy valiantly defended the People’s Alliance ship ‘Tranquility’ while supporting fighters disabled the extraction station turned criminal stronghold. The away crew proceeded to relieve the criminals of high value equipment and rescued a trapped pilot.

Shortly after station deactivation a nearby Vanduul fleet saw an opportunity to strike and amushed the allied fleet. During this engagement the Indy took heavy damage but was able to survive and saw the defeat of a Mauler class Vanduul capital ship.
