History
The Tessier-Ashpool dynasty stems from a family merger predating interstellar travel by over a century. By marrying the financial empires of the australian Ashford branch and the Tessier family from Switzerland, one of the most powerful cooperations of Earth came into existence.
Through groundbreaking advances in genetic research, cryogenic technology and artificial intelligence, the S.A. has achieved an unrivaled network of direct control over all their enterprises and projects.
Equal part of the family structure are four A.I. constructs, supporting and arranging most of the business and intelligence work, but also acting as consultant entities and fleet command when it comes to trading and general movement of assets.
The Tessier-Ashpools central domain, the spin station Freeside in Earths orbit, does not fall under Earths strict trade and genetics laws, so most of the cooperations legal affairs are managed from there. Luxurious and beautiful, it is a place to behold.
Today the Tessier-Ashpool S.A. is more active than ever when it comes to controling and expanding their vast network which was built over centuries, planets and systems.
Manifesto
The Tessier-Ashpool S.A. can look back on centuries of successful projects in the sectors of trade, communication, brokerage, research and administration. Our main focus has always been the acquisition, classification and profitable distribution and/or control of all kinds of information.
We concentrate the greatest part of our research capacities to the development and progression of network-based artificial intelligence. At the time there are four dedicated A.I. mainframes active under the management of Tessier-Ashpool S.A., working for some of the most profitable interplanetary cooperations systemwide and the UEE governmental Administration on Earth. Genetic research and preservation is another of our specialty branches, aimed specifically at family owned and governed enterprises.
With a keen eye for cultural development we also pride ourselves as leaders in the sector of art collecting, evaluation and trading.
We offer trading and delivery services, administrative and informational support.
