History
Thor’s Hammer was founded by a veteran of countless battles, adventures, blood and tears. Its first members lent a helping hand to a grizzled Commander in his time of need. This became the ethos of the organization, “All for one and one for all”. Like individuals from different walks of life in the Verse coming together to form a core unit worthy of tackling what the Verse had to throw at them.
This core unit started very small but was always looking for citizens with the “right stuff” in any field of endeavor in the Verse to join up. “A beautiful Perl grows from a single grain of sand”, the Commander once told his Division Head as they fired up the jump drives getting ready to chart a course into the unknown. The future was yet to be written…
Manifesto
Thor’s Hammer is all about forming a band of citizens who care for and protect one another in the Verse. By fostering honesty and high levels of trust among members it aims to make the most of the riches available in the Verse. From mining in dangerous areas, to setting up settlements on new frontiers this org is all about adventure, profit and safety. They say the ancient one once wrote about “The Death of a Spaceman”. To quote a favorite song of this org’s commander, “Dying to me don’t sound like all that much fun”.
Teamwork, understanding the limits of org member’s resources and commitments while still maintaining structure is what Thor’s Hammer stands for. The fleet and infrastructure will be built but the camaraderie is the magic sauce that we seek and foster.
