The Double Dogma is a non-dogmatic faith devoted to the sacred act of carrying, sharing, and leaving Double Dogs where they absolutely should not be.
History
Little is known about the Double Dog. Its history is shrouded in mystery, prophecy, and mild superstition.
A Double Dog a day keeps the elevators at bay.
What happens if all carry one, day after day?
Some say it could bring peace in its own strange way.
Alas, no one knows.
What is known are the sightings.
In cargo holds, in med bays bright,
In comm arrays restored to light,
In any place both wrong and right—
A Dog appears, then leaves your sight.
No pattern. No message.
Only repetition.
Manifesto
We are not a religion.
We have no doctrine.
We reject structure, meaning, and purpose.
And yes…
We carry Double Dogs.
We share Double Dogs.
We leave Double Dogs in places they were never meant to be.
A cargo hold,
A medical bay,
A freshly restored comm array.
A place where someone stops and asks, “Why?”
And walks away.
There is no answer.
Only the Dog.
Charter
What we do:
- Carry at least one Double Dog in your pocket whenever possible
- Offer it freely to strangers and allies alike
- Leave Double Dogs behind as quiet, confusing blessings
There is no requirement. There is no expectation.
But if you find yourself always carrying one…
you may already understand.
