History
THE HOLY FACTION
Before there was unity, there was silence.
Before there was purpose, there was drift.
I. THE AGE OF FRACTURE
The organization that would become The Holy Faction was not born in strength—it was born in collapse.
In the outer systems, far from the reach of stable authority, countless independent crews, traders, mercenaries, and refugees struggled to survive. Alliances were temporary. Loyalty was transactional. Betrayal was common.
Amid this instability, a series of devastating conflicts—later referred to as The Fracture—left entire sectors crippled. Trade lanes fell into disarray. Stations were abandoned. Trust between groups shattered.
Survival became the only law.
II. THE CONVERGENCE
From this chaos, a small number of individuals began to question the cycle.
They were not the strongest fleets, nor the wealthiest captains—but they shared something rare: the belief that the galaxy could be more than a battlefield of self-interest.
These early founders—pilots, engineers, and former soldiers—began gathering others who were tired of meaningless conflict. They formed a loose coalition built on mutual protection and shared ideals rather than profit.
This gathering became known as The Convergence.

The turning point came during a crisis now remembered as The Black Orbit Incident.
A convoy of civilians and independent ships found itself trapped near a dying star, caught between hostile forces and gravitational collapse. Many groups abandoned the area, unwilling to risk total loss.
The Convergence did not.
Against overwhelming odds, its members coordinated a rescue—shielding weaker ships, sharing fuel and resources, and holding off attackers long enough for the convoy to escape.
Losses were heavy. Some of the founding members were never seen again.
But for the first time, something undeniable had been proven:
Unity could overcome chaos.

ARTICLE II – PURPOSE AND MISSION
