Welcome to the Interstellar Crewman’s association. We seek to uphold the dignity and rights of every crewman whether floating in the vacuum of space or with their boots firmly planted on the ground.
“No crewman left behind, no job unpaid, or no slight unavenged.”
In the shadows of Hurston smokestacks and the drone of ArcCorp orbital platforms, the seeds of the ICA were planted—not in revolution, but in resentment.
Centuries after humanity took to the stars, the conditions for the average crewman hadn’t changed. Long hours. Hazard pay withheld. Unmarked graves on unnamed moons. Contracts broken, reputations ruined, and no recourse but a bullet or bankruptcy.
The UEE, beholden to megacorps and their “asset management boards,” turned a blind eye. Trade guilds offered insurance—at a price. Criminal syndicates offered protection—until they turned on you. Honest spacers, smugglers, haulers, engineers, and gunners had nowhere to go. So they looked to each other.
Our Purpose The Interstellar Crewman’s Associations exists for one reason: To ensure that no crewmember is left behind, unpaid, or unavenged.
We are not a corporation. We are not a cartel. We are not pirates. But we are not pacifists. We are the hammer on the hull, the wrench in the reactor. We are the lifeblood of the black—and if we stop moving, the whole system seizes. Our Demands Dignity in Contract – No more exploitative deals. Pay what you promise. Post it in writing.
Safety in Service – Risk is part of the job. Deceit is not. We will not die for your bottom line. Voice in Dispute – Arbitration before escalation. But if you run, we will chase. Solidarity in Struggle – An injury to one is a grievance to all. Crew. Captain. Cargo. Code.Enforcement: The Restitution Wing We offered fair terms. We offered diplomacy. But when a captain leaves a crew to rot in an asteroid field, or a corp exec “forgets” a hazard bonus— We do not sue.
We seize. The Restitution Wing operates with the full authorization of the ICA General Assembly. Whether it’s freezing funds, commandeering cargo, or full interdiction—members know they are not alone. To cross one of us is to deal with all of us.Join Us Whether you’re a greenhorn fresh out of Cestulus or a battle-scarred engineer from Vega, the ICA is your home. Not for profit. Not for glory. But because no one should have to fight alone in the dark.
Fly under any flag—but keep one patch on your sleeve: ICA – We Watch Our Own
