Torgo Logistics was initially founded under the name of “Torgo’s Flying Services” in 2669 as a subsidiary of the popular space pilot bar & lounge “Torgos’s Tavern” located at former Torgo Naval Station orbiting Sol system’s Jupiter. The new business provided regular delivery of alcoholic beverages and various commodities to other nearby installations, both military and civilian in the outer solar system. At the end of the year 2676 the tiny subsidiary had already outstripped its mother company in terms of profit. In 2711 Torgo’s Flying Services was finally renamed* Torgo Logistics* and extended their services to long-range delivery, reaching out to the newly human colonized star systems. The original pilot bar closed down in 2714, when Torgo Naval Station was decommissioned, but the daughter company continued business and name.
Today, Torgo Logistics specializes in high-speed short-term cargo transportation, deploying only fast mid-size vessels. It is, by long experience, a rather small company of highly skilled employees, always looking out for niches and chances bigger companies wouldn’t consider.
The enterprise’s logo didn’t change very much throughout the centuries and still symbolizes planet Jupiter with its largest satellite Ganymede, where Torgo Logistics still operates their central office.
