The Trident Mercenaries are a group of military-trained Bounty Hunters who combat Piracy wherever it can be found.
History
The Trident Mercenaries was started by a small, dedicated group of fighter pilots who were sick of piracy in open space, and started fighting back. We were by no means funded in any capacity, but there was no other choice.
We organized a small fleet to take out the small-time trash on the Bounty Hunting boards, as well as escort small supply convoys. We are still working this angle today, and hope to grow into a full-fledged protection firm.
Manifesto
Our intention is to stop piracy wherever we can find it, and ensure that people are safe to travel in open space.
Our motives come from the frustration of flying through insecure space, jumping at every signature that pops up in range of your ship, wondering if it will be a helping hand, an indifferent traveler, or a bloodthirsty pirate. Our aim is to make open space more secure.
Our views are that pirates have turned against their fellow man, and must be eliminated. They threaten the peace and tranquility of open space, and each one that we let survive will no doubt breed like the vermin they are, and we will face an army before we know it. For that reason, we show no mercy when dealing with Pirates.

Charter Of The Trident Mercenaries
1) First and foremost, it is one for all, and all for one. Support and back your fellow Mercenaries, for in numbers we are truly powerful.
2)Unless the safety of yourself or a squad member is in danger, Pirates must be eliminated on site. We will NOT negotiate with Pirates. They have chosen their path, just as we have chosen ours.
3)Any goods found on any Pirate vessel will be returned to the original owner, if the original owner can be discovered. If not, we will donate all non military-grade equipment to local developing cities and locations, and keep all ammunition, weapons, and spare ship parts we can find, as well as anything else deemed “essential”. We’re a mercenary company, not a church. We help where we can, but we won’t help others while we starve.
4)Never forget that while you are a member of the Trident Mercenaries, your actions and words reflect on us as a whole. We stand for safety and security. We don’t start fights, we end them. We are not aggressors, we are protectors. We help those without the means to defend themselves. This is our creed.
