Founded after frontier colonies were left vulnerable to piracy and unrest, The Settler Defense Initiative began as a civilian militia turned organized defense force. Over time, SDI grew into a respected protector of settlers, trade lanes, and new worlds across contested space.

We believe humanity’s future is built on the frontier—where courage, sacrifice, and unity forge new worlds. The Settler Defense Initiative exists to defend settlers, secure prosperity, and uphold order in the lawless reaches of space. We stand for discipline over chaos, service over self-interest, and strength used with purpose. Where pioneers build, we protect. Where threats rise, we answer. Our duty is clear: safeguard civilization’s expansion among the stars, so future generations may thrive in peace, security, and freedom.

Charter

Article I – Purpose
The Settler Defense Initiative (SDI) exists to protect settlers, colonies, and lawful trade throughout frontier space. Its mission is to ensure security, stability, and opportunity wherever humanity expands.

Article II – Core Principles

Duty: Service before self.
Honor: Conduct with integrity, discipline, and respect.
Unity: Strength through cooperation and shared purpose.
Protection: Defend the innocent, the industrious, and the frontier.
Resolve: Stand firm against piracy, lawlessness, and tyranny.

Article III – Membership
All members of SDI are bound by oath to uphold its principles, obey lawful command, and act in the best interests of the Initiative and those under its protection.

Article IV – Conduct
Members shall act professionally in diplomacy and decisively in defense. Abuse of authority, dishonor, or betrayal of the Initiative’s mission is grounds for removal.

Article V – Oath
