History

Lore Background

After the UEE’s abandonment of the outer worlds and systems via selling them to the mega corporations in the sector meant that Pirate and Vanduul attacks were at an all time high. This led to the descendants of Earth to grow angry and restless seeing their fellow humans being robbed and slaughtered whilst the UEE Navy simply looked the other way. This restlessness and anger eventually led to the creation of the UED, United Earth Directorate, which swore to do what the UEE Navy would not by ANY means necessary. Sacrifices often have to be made for greater good even though they may seem morally unjust and wrong, we have to remember that 100 lives are worth less than 1000 lives.

Through the years the UED has led many battles and rescue missions to both private contractors but also larger organizations in need of industrial or military aid. The most important of which happened during the Vanduul attack on the Nyx system in the year 2955 where multiple organizations and civilians were left completely undefended and without support. The UED launched a full scale counterattack to try and rescue as many people and resources as possible, many of the saved folks now work for the UED as a way to pay off their debt for being saved, as everything has a price.

Nowadays the UED is an organized PMC group fitted to perform almost any task for the right price. Specializing in military and security operations we complete missions with the utmost precision and efficiency to ensure the human race continues to thrive in the future. With help from the people and other organizations in the sector we ensure the safety and prosperity of earths descendants.

Manifesto

In our organization we believe that no one is above the law we set. Any attempt at breaking the law WILL result in prosecution. Pirates targeting civilians in our sector will be found and put before a trial where they will get sent to klescher to pay for their crimes. As previously stated no one is above the law and that includes the Vanduul, the only difference between the Vanduul and normal pirates are the ways we handle them. Vanduul are ALWAYS seen as hostile and will be shot on site no matter the situation.

Our PMC primarily works for the citizens of Stanton, Pyro and Nyx’s safety and prosperity. We fight for the future the UEE will not fight for, be it against pirates, Vanduul or other criminal syndicates that come into our way. In time for big operations we often announce what will be needed and who will be needed in our discord server, but remember that real life always takes priority. Do not feel ashamed if you cannot attend a big event since there will always be a next time.

The United Earth Directorate does not condone the disrespect of any loyal citizen, we treat our fellow soldiers, crew and organisations with the utmost respect. We wont condone the pirating and robbing of our own and actively work against it, taking from another law abiding citizen while on duty will result in disciplinary action. However, a vanquished foe is free ground for anyone who is low on credits and in need of extra resources.

Charter

The UED is a PVP and PVE organisation and as such we accept people from both playstyles, everything from cargo hauling and salvage operations to pirate hunting and orbital laser mining are welcomed with open arms.

Our code of conduct:

  • Be Mature.
    1. Racism and homophobia will not be tolerated
    2. Treat everyone with respect, be understanding rather than fuming
  • No pirating while on duty or with UED members, feel free to do it in your freetime (even though it may be bad) but on duty we will uphold the law
  • All members of higher authority must represent the organisation AT ALL TIMES, even during casual playing, this means no piracy etc.
  • If you have anything you want to take up about the UED contact your Recruiter, Officer or Commander directly

During fleet / events

  • Respect your elders, remember who outranks you and try to be respectful, if you have any complaints contact your Recruiter, Officer or Commander
  • Be mindfull of how much you speak, during events we will try to keep comms as clean as possible, try not to flood the channel with unnecessary chatter
  • If we’re flying formation flight you should always ensure to not break formation till the order is given, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link and escorts can not go around solo.

Other Important information

  • We primarily use Discord as our platform of communication and all announcements and events will take place there.
  • Although having a mic isn’t needed, for a full experience where we can have as much fun as possible having it is strongly recommended
  • Everyone is welcome in our PMC/org, just remember that if you want to be more than an associate, you might wanna leave your pirating life behind
