History

Have you ever wanted to be in an org but after some time it became an economy or a corpo org or just something else entirely? We did. Which is why we created Variety Ventures. We are a org that focuses on Star Citizen, but also other games too within our Discord. We are just starting out, but we want to make everyone feel like they’re just in one big game related community, or family if that wording is more your vibe.

Special thanks to AnakinThighWalker who created the org name!

Manifesto

Our intentions with this org are simple, a community. With no excessive rules, no BS.

Charter

While we don’t want rules, they are still a mandatory thing.. but, here’s the run down..

- All current members, or those interested in joining VENTR must join the Discord. Alongside apply to the org thru RSI. Applications do not have to be formal in any way, a simple “Lemme innnn” is sufficient.

- Communication is key, thus VC is also required during events, VC is done thru Discord. However, if you use VOIP, that is fine, we ask those who use it are also in the VC so they can hear those that do not use VOIP. Push-to-Talk is preferred for VC, but not at all enforced, unless specified.

- Attendance, the word people dread. We don’t mandate it. If you wanna disappear for a few weeks, days.. Go ahead, you don’t need to tell us. We may check in though, to make sure you’re okay at least. As for events, it’s still not required.

- Events are fun, which is why we allow everyone to have the ability to orchestrate their own events so those interested can join in.
