Welcome to the Voodoo Voyagers landing page!

Crack a cold one, mix your favorite cocktail, or pull out the penjamin! Whatever your poison of choice, we’re heading into The Verse to acquire fame and fortune, battle elevators and bugs, and generally rage joyously and cause mayhem wherever we can!

History

In the early 21st century, there was beer and chaos. The two went hand in hand, for as chaos rose, so did the need for beer. It was in this time of turmoil that the Voodoo Voyagers were born.

As a splinter faction of a renowned brewhouse, the Voodoo Voyagers knew they would need to band together to survive a world in which technological progress advanced faster than human wisdom could tame it responsibly.

The Voodoo Voyagers had a simple mission statement: drink and be merry in the company of like-minded folks who were ready to be courageous and meet the needs of survival at any cost, be it legitimate or not.

After centuries of brewing beer and surviving and thriving through the power of trust in the group, the Voodoo Voyagers of the modern era still adhere to the same tenants of their forebears: thrive, survive, live fast, earn, build fortune and fame, and do it together with no person left behind.

And so ends the history of the Voodoo Voyagers…

Let the adventures begin!

Manifesto

The Voodoo Voyager Manifesto:

We are the Voodoo Voyagers, and that means something. It means something to the universe at large, but most importantly, it means something to those brave enough to sign the oath, the sacred pledge, to become a member.

Each signatory knows they carry a heavy burden upon their broad, thick shoulders. It is the burden to be a representative of an organization that makes a mark wherever they go. It is the burden to carry the banner of excellence, courage, and valor in all endeavors. It is a heavy burden indeed, but one our members take on without a second thought.

Being a Voodoo Voyager means to bravely venture out into The Verse and stake a claim, to make an indelible mark, to acquire fame and fortune at all costs. It means to drink and smoke and be merry in a brotherhood of other adventurers that will do almost anything to achieve their aims. I say almost anything, because a Voodoo Voyager never betrays another member, never leaves another member behind, and upholds their heroic oath under all circumstances.

You might be asking: are the Voodoo Voyagers drunken pirates? And I’d reply, yes, at times. But they can also be merciful cargo haulers. They can be savage bounty hunters. They can be kind do-gooders (on rare occasion). But one thing they always do is stick together. Through thick and thin, they are one. They forge forward into their destiny as a single unit of pure strength and courage.

In this solidarity, they can and will conquer anything.

“Our history is rich. Our lore is deep. Our adventures are for the ages.” – The First Colonel of the Voodoo Voyagers

Charter

We the Voodoo Voyagers hereby pledge to adhere to the principles laid out in the following charter, a document that has been protected and passed down for five centuries.

All members shall use these as their Founding Principles:

Principle 1: Eat, drink, smoke, and be merry, and share whenever possible!

Principle 2: Leave no member behind or in distress

Principle 3: Be fearless in the pursuit of fame and fortune

Principle 4: Display valor and courage in all circumstances, even the sucky ones!

Principle 5: Occasionally knock out a friend from behind to remind them death could be lurking around every corner

Principle 6: Live each day to the fullest full of mirth, vigor, and might

Principle 7: Only take things seriously for short periods, then remember Principle 1.

Principle 8: Always help a member in need, unless it is highly inconvenient

Principle 9: Fly fast, be skillful, and if you’re going to crash, crash hard!

Principle 10: Make fun of any member, including one’s self, who gives money to Chris Roberts. But then be understanding, probably buy things yourself, and go back to Principle 1.
