Wraith Company is a disciplined Star Citizen organization lead by Aurex Thorne specializing in freelance contracting, bounty hunting, and security operations across the verse. Operating in the shadows, we complete contracts with ruthless efficiency, and purpose.

History

Wraith Company
“In shadow, victory. In victory, honor. In honor, purpose.”

In the turbulent decades following the collapse of several major corporate security contracts along the outer trade lanes of the United Empire of Earth, countless systems were left exposed to piracy, insurgency, and organized criminal syndicates. Frontier settlements suffered the most. Civilian freighters disappeared without warning, mining colonies were raided, and local militias lacked the resources to respond.

From this instability emerged a small coalition of former Advocacy operatives, Navy veterans, private security contractors, and independent pilots who had grown disillusioned with bureaucracy and political hesitation. They believed the frontier did not need another corporation chasing profit above all else — it needed professionals willing to operate where lawful authority could not or would not.

That coalition became Wraith Company.

Initially founded from a worn-down station in the Ellis system, Wraith Company began as a three-ship security outfit escorting independent haulers through high-risk corridors. Their methods were unconventional: rapid deployment, stealth-capable strike craft, decentralized command structures, and intelligence gathering through extensive freelance networks. They quickly developed a reputation for appearing without warning in active combat zones, eliminating threats with surgical precision, and disappearing before local authorities even arrived.

Pirates began referring to them as “the Wraiths.”

Rather than reject the name, the organization embraced it.

Over time, Wraith Company evolved into a hybrid organization operating across multiple sectors of the civilian security economy. While officially classified as an independent contracting and security consortium, their operational branches expanded into:

High-risk cargo escort operations
Target acquisition and bounty enforcement
Deep-space recovery contracts
VIP extraction and transport
Mercenary support for lawful planetary governments
Reconnaissance and intelligence procurement
Anti-piracy patrols in fringe systems
Private investigations and fugitive tracking

Unlike traditional mercenary groups, Wraith Company maintains a strict operational code. Contracts involving civilian exploitation, slavery, terrorism, or indiscriminate violence are categorically forbidden. Members who violate the code are exiled permanently and marked across the Company’s internal network.

This code earned Wraith Company an unusual reputation: feared by criminals, respected by traders, and cautiously tolerated by the UEE itself.

The Company’s structure reflects military influence without becoming a rigid standing army. Leadership is centralized under the Command Executor, while operational autonomy is granted to specialized detachments known as Shades — self-sufficient task groups assigned to particular systems or objectives. Pilots, bounty hunters, engineers, medics, scouts, and logistics officers operate together as tightly coordinated units capable of independent deployment for weeks at a time.

Their visual identity — the spectral wolf upon a dark shield — symbolizes patience, precision, and relentless pursuit. To members of Wraith Company, the wolf is not merely a predator; it represents the pack mentality that keeps operators alive in hostile space. No pilot flies alone. No contract is completed without mutual support.

As frontier instability continues to spread across Stanton and neighboring systems, Wraith Company has grown from a fringe security operation into a recognized force within the freelance ecosystem. Independent captains now actively seek Wraith escort contracts before venturing into dangerous sectors, while bounty boards across multiple jurisdictions quietly prioritize Wraith operatives for high-value targets.

Rumors persist that the organization maintains hidden forward operating bases beyond mapped jump points, stockpiles military-grade hardware acquired through salvaged Navy contracts, and possesses intelligence networks embedded within criminal syndicates themselves.

Whether those rumors are true remains unclear.

What is certain is this:

When hostile signatures emerge from the dark edges of known space, many pray the first ships to arrive carry the mark of the spectral wolf.

Manifesto

Wraith Company Manifesto

Wraith Company exists to operate where opportunity, conflict, and ambition intersect across the systems of Star Citizen. We are a collective of independent specialists bound by shared purpose: to succeed in high-risk, high-reward environments through coordination, skill, and adaptability.

We do not confine ourselves to a single role. Our strength lies in versatility—freelance contracts, bounty hunting, security assignments, escort operations, reconnaissance, and strategic support. Every member contributes to a broader capability network where individual expertise is amplified through cooperation.

We value precision over noise, preparation over reaction, and execution over intent. Contracts are approached with clear objectives and professional discipline, but without unnecessary rigidity—adaptation is expected, and improvisation is respected when circumstances demand it.

Wraith Company is not defined by ideology, but by effectiveness. Reputation is earned through consistent performance, reliability under pressure, and the ability to deliver results in environments where failure carries consequence.

We operate with autonomy, but not isolation. Every mission strengthens the whole. Every success expands capability. Every member shapes the identity of the company through action, not title.

In the vastness of space, opportunity favors those prepared to act decisively. Wraith Company exists to be ready.
