History
Weyland Corp was founded by Peter Weyland on October 11, 2012. After the successful launch of the Prometheus vessel, Weyland acquired the Japan-based Yutani Corporation in 2093 to form Weyland-Yutani Corp. This merger has allowed for the continuation of the Prometheus Project and base for a second mission to the Zeta Reticuli system. The launch of the Prometheus also called for an addition to our motto – not only does Weyland-Yutani build better worlds – we discover them.
Manifesto
The motto of Weyland-Yutani is “building – and discovering – better worlds”. We strive for technological breakthroughs that improve our everyday lives and relentlessly search our galaxy for worlds of interest to the human race.
