The White Lotus Guild was first created in China of old. General Zhao Kuang-yin of the Song Dynasty, in the 970s AD, put them do deadly use killing opposing generals during the unification of China. During the 9 years it took to unify China, the White Lotus Guild became master assassins and bounty hunters. They were chosen from a young age and trained in the arts of tracking, stealth, and death. The Guild flourished all the way to the end of the Qing Dynasty in 1644 AD. When the Qing Dynasty fell, the White Lotus Guild moved to more conventional and legal means to survive. Today, in 2945 AD, we now make a tidy profit from trade, mining and bounty hunting. However, we still stick with our old ways.
