We are a clan that has existed for around 4 years, we mainly play Rust or Dayz and hope to really enjoy Star Citizen. The label “Freelancer” means that we will do any job, from piracy, to contracts to smuggling. We also wish to trade with others for maximum profit.
See you in the ‘Verse!
The history of the WolfPack has evolved over two last years, what started as two friends building a base on Rust turned into a vibrant community and finally a clan – calling themselves the WolfPack. They decided on this name because of our ferocity and strength; just like a pack of wolves on the hunt.
We’ve decided to head out into unexplored territories outside of Rust and join the ‘verse in Star Citizen.
The WolfPack is here to do any jobs for pay. We do not have a particular political standpoint yet as we have not delved into politics, though that might change in future. The WolfPack is going to be doing any job from piracy to security. We wish to make a profit, work together well and of course; follow their Alpha!
The WolfPack wants to be a fun group where anyone can join for any activity due to our freelance status, even though the rank system is very thorough we don’t want to be tedious or boring. Since after all we’re playing a game to have fun, so just try it and see if you like the atmosphere and community before judging!
Rank 5: The leaders of the WolfPack, The “Alpha” aka the leader and “Beta” which means he is the second in command. The rank is called the “Elders” as we are the heads of the clan and will make all the major decisions for the group between ourselves, possibly calling upon a vote. The Alpha always has the final word, his word is like law and must be followed if commanded.
Rank 4: The “Pack Masters” are the highest ranking members in the pack. The Pack Masters will be in charge of the WolfPack while the Elders are offline, they will be coordinating all of the ranks below them much like a Camp Prefect in the Roman military. It is a privileged rank achieved through dedication and excellence in the field and in management. He will be in charge of maintaining order in the camp and ensure no treachery is ongoing within the group.
Rank 3: Sentinel’s will be seen as a senior officer (NCO) during the fighting, likewise to a Sergeant in modern militaries. He will be in charge of ensuring that Omega’s are dishing out the correct tasks for the cubs and generally need to be like a leader during a battle, he will be called on to lead most battles. Sentinel’s should be an experienced soldier that can keep a cool head during battles and ensure that the squad he is in charge of are communicating effectively with him and each other. Sentinel’s will be keeping a watch on Omega’s and if any issues arise he is expected to resolve them, but if it is very serious a more senior rank should be consulted.
Rank 2: Omega’s will be there to keep order in the ranks, fight and work with his Sentinel and take charge if his Sentinel is absent/dead. Omegas are also expected to hand out punishments to cubs and recruits if they do not do as told. It is the job of the Omega’s to ensure that his part of the fleet is well maintained and that the cub’s and recruits are trained suitably for any situation.
Rank 1: Cub’s are ordinary members of the WolfPack, the standard rank and if no senior ranks are present then the most senior of cubs must take charge and assume the role of the Omega. The Cub is expected to carry out and orders from a higher rank but has his rights to protest to anything he feels is being done unfairly. If so he must quietly talk to a more senior rank from Sentinel and above to resolve his issue.
Rank 0: The rank Recruit is essentially when a new member joins, he will be going a trial period where he will be trained and introduced to as many members as possible. If the recruit is accepted he will be assigned the rank of Cub, if he is rejected then he will be removed from the WolfPack but free to return to trial training 24hrs after failure.
Three simple rules that we expect all members to follow.
