History

Expanse Solutions – Organizational History**

“Solutions Beyond the Horizon.”

Founded in 2947, Expanse Solutions was never meant to be just another private security firm—it was designed to be the answer to a galaxy that no longer played by the rules.

As the UEE stretched itself thin trying to police contested systems and protect corporate interests, Bear Goggins, a former UEE Marine Corps tactical coordinator, saw the writing on the wall: the galaxy was changing, and survival would favor those who moved fast, thought smarter, and operated outside the rigid structures of empire and megacorp.

Refusing to stand idle, Goggins reached out to a trusted circle—elite specialists he had crossed paths with over the years, each with a reputation forged in fire.

  • Shanwon, a former Navy ace with a kill record that made Vanduul squadrons change course. Equal parts instinct and precision, Shanwon turned any Expanse operation into an air-superiority guarantee—whether flying escort, clearing lanes, or dropping in hot.
  • Writhe, an ex-Advocacy black-ops ghost. Information warfare, infiltration, electronic disruption—Writhe was the edge of the knife. No one saw him coming, and fewer saw him leave.
  • Peytoon Arnoldo, once a top-tier strategist for Rendell Interstellar, turned rogue after uncovering corruption too big to ignore. His insights into corporate logistics, economic manipulation, and power projection gave Expanse an upper hand in navigating political minefields.
  • Burd, a combat medic and trauma specialist with a field record spanning Vega, Kellog, and Cathcart. More than just a healer, Burd developed Expanse’s forward-deployment medical protocols, ensuring every operative had a fighting chance—even when the odds were terminal.
  • T.M. Crown, a brilliant systems engineer and cyber operations specialist, brought on by Writhe after a classified data breach exposed just how deep Crown’s talents ran. Crown’s mastery of electronic warfare, remote infiltration, and defensive systems made him the architect behind Expanse’s digital shield—and its dagger. In a galaxy where battles are often fought through firewalls before bullets, Crown ensured Expanse always fired first.

Together, these six forged a new kind of organization—**Expanse Solutions**—where procurement, enforcement, and tactical logistics weren’t separate departments, but seamless parts of a single, highly mobile machine.

Their debut operation—**“Deadwater Reclaim” (2948)**—saw them recover hijacked quantum drives in the lawless corridors of Yulin, operating under radio silence and against overwhelming odds. They succeeded without fanfare or failure—just the kind of quiet efficiency that would become their signature.

Over the following years, Expanse established operational hubs in Vega, Bremen, and Chronos, with discreet deployments in frontier systems like Taranis, Pyro, and Cathcart. Whether dealing with megacorp sabotage, black-market extractions, pirate interdictions, or high-risk logistical runs under fire, Expanse built a name not through politics or publicity—but results.

Today, Expanse Solutions stands as a tactically agile, ethically independent force in a galaxy defined by instability. Their loyalty lies not with the highest bidder, but with the mission. With the original leadership still at the helm, the organization remains focused, fast, and fearsome.

> From boardroom blackouts to battlefield deployments—Expanse Solutions delivers. Always.
> Results over red tape. Precision over politics. And always—solutions beyond the horizon.
