Orion IV is a gas giant in the Orion system, nicknamed "Abyss" for its iconic deep black atmosphere. So little light reflects from Abyss that it is difficult to observe with the naked eye, save for a faint red glow that gives it the appearance of a lump of slightly glowing coal. Some tourists before the 2712 Vanduulinvasion visited the system solely to see Abyss in person.
