Kallis I is a protoplanet in the developing Kallis system. A small mass of matter, it is believed that this protoplanet will eventually coalesce with nearby planetesimals and become a planet. Recent changes in its orbit have pushed it closer to its sun, leading to speculation that it may break apart if this migration continues.
