The Cutlass Red is a variant of the Cutlass fighter developed by Drake Interplanetary. The Red is a combined search and rescue vehicle and medical transport, replacing the standard Cutlass' cargo bay with an autodoc and other medical devices. Standard equipment on the variant includes a Nav-E7 Echo Transponder, enhanced scanners, and a Secure Plus docking collar to support mercy missions. Cutlass Reds often operate in support of larger hospital ships or space stations.
