Ellis II is a terrestrial planet with a thick, high-pressure atmosphere located in the Ellis system, United Empire of Earth (UEE). Underneath the swirling clouds that hide its surface is an enormous, planet-wide desert marked with ever-shifting swirls and ridges created by frequent, violent wind storms. If rain is generated in these storms, it burns away before it can hit the ground. Snow made up of evaporated metal has been observed capping some of the planet's mountains.
