Caliban V is the outermost planet from the sun of the Caliban system in Vanduul territory. A protoplanet with a craggy surface, it was considered of little value to the United Empire of Earth(UEE) and was therefore largely ignored. After the Vanduul took the system in SEY 2884, they began strip-mining operations, leading to speculation that it must hold resources the Vanduul consider desirable.
