Helios I is a terrestrial rocky planet in the Helios system, United Empire of Earth (UEE). The closest planet to its sun, temperatures on Helios I are dangerously high. In 2937, the scientific survey station OB Tarasque crashed onto the planet's surface. Its lack of adequate shielding put all the survivors in danger of dying by heat exposure. As quickly as possible, members of a local garrison modified their fighters to withstand the extreme conditions and were able to rescue six survivors before it was too late.
