Rhetor I is a mesoplanet in the Rhetor system, United Empire of Earth (UEE). Because it lacks an atmosphere, there is an extreme difference between its day and night temperatures. Despite its extreme daytime heat, there are patches of water ice on Rhetor I, generally located on the floors of deep craters around the north pole.
