Vega 2b is the outermost moon of Aremis (Vega II), United Empire of Earth (UEE). A shepherd moon, it closely orbits the outer edge of Aremis' system of rings, clearing out stray debris in orbit around the planet which gives the rings a sharply defined edge. It is believed that the moon is a captured asteroid with possible origins in the Vega belt alpha.
