Kyu'ām (La'uo III) is the third planet from the sun of the La'uo system, Xi'an Empire (SaoXy'an). A smog planet, it is enveloped in layers of carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and sulfur dioxide. In the distant past, its surface was too dangerous to land a ship on due to the high-pressure atmosphere. Since the red giant in La'uo's center expanded and began to heat up the system, Kyu'ām's atmosphere has thinned and expanded, giving it the appearance of a miniature hot Jupiter.
