The kopion is a fast, carnivorous animal that has become invasive in multiple systems. Indigenous to Ashana (Nul V), it evolved to survive harsh environments spanning across differing biomes. On average, it reproduces twice per Standard Earth Year (SEY), and typically gives birth to between 5 and 10 young. Most of the pups born on Ashana die due to predation, starvation, or exposure. On other, less deadly worlds where it is introduced by those who hope to harvest its horn, the majority of the pups reach adulthood.
