Gliese I is the first planet from the sun of the Gliese system Banu Protectorate. An iron planet with a superheated ferromagnetic core that is partially exposed to vacuum, its intensely hot conditions make landing on its surface nearly impossible without specialized technology. The planet sees some traffic from Human who say that being near the core helps ease pain associated with cybernetic limbs. There is no evidence that this is true, but there are numerous merchants on Nogo (Gliese IV) that advertise transportation services to and from Gliese I based on the popularity of this claim.
