The Virgil system is a planetary system within Vanduul territory, formerly of the United Empire of Earth(UEE). Discovered in SEY 2412, it was colonized by Humans soon after as a part of Project Far Star and became a system renowned for its agriculture and lush vegetation. Cyrene (Virgil I) in particular was covered in tropical forests and densely populated cities. The system was ransacked by the Vanduul in 2737, immediately following the Siege of Tiber. Now occupied by the Vanduul, many of Virgil's celestial bodies are being strip-mined by Clans passing through the system, and Cyrene has been rendered nearly uninhabitable.
